(5/5) Jack Nicholson shines with mad brilliance in this work of pure genius. A masterpiece that scared the s**t out of me.

Classic from Steven Kubrick, Jack Nicholson at his maniacal best, the opening and ending scenes are a class act.
Ratnakar..its Stanley.
The Shining is one of the best horror movies ever made. The scene with Danny travelling all over the hotel on his tricycle is something that I can never forget. Its etched in my memory complete with the colours, sounds etc. And the opening scene where Jack Torrance travels to the hotel is eerie to say the least.
