    Mad Hatter and Red Queen remind me so much of Sweeny Todd, Charlie and Choc Fac, Ed Scissor…Does Burton have a fixation on the way his characters look..dead and all that…

    Generally Burton creates the characters based on his own sketches, so that explains the dark,Gothic tone.

    Knowing Burton, this could be a more darker look at the story. Though i must say, i liked the older version of Charlie and Choc Factory more.
