Salman is back with Vengeance..Must watch move
This is a movie for Salman fans. I wasn’t one and also after having watched the original, it didn’t offer me any novelty. Action is intense and gore just like in the original. Most of the dialogues are trite and just trying to be funny but they only bore. Salman was looking very sophisticated ruffian unlike Mahesh Babu. One time watch only.

Yes indeed its a film for Salman fans.Those who havent watched the other versions ( Telugu and Tamil) will have the novelty factor added to it.Salman looks jaded at places but manages to pull it off.The music and comedy are a let down.Action scenes are of course slick and its a treat to watch Prakash Raj perform.He’s done the role thrice and each time he’s added a new dimension.Overall an average watch.
Dil Bole Hadippa seems to have got low ratings, TA has given it 2/5,and even other websites don’t seem to enthu about it. Rani M certainly needs a better comeback vehicle.

Yeah, it does look like a desperate attempt .. no clue why, but every interview and media appearance suggests the same…well … she is kinda affected by being a part of KJ-YC camp as well… and now, it doesnt look like she can act with Salman Sanjay Dutt Sunil Shetty even Hrithik anymore, SRK needs a change, Abhishek (the other golden boy for YC-KJ)needs hits, and all the actors look younger than her…
Its a film what it promises to be, a complete masala entertainer. Salmanbhai u rock big time.

total masala movie, good friday night watch with a bunch of friends. thats how all films used to be sometime back, so its good to watch such mindless fares once in a while. Dialogues and action cater to seetimaar crowd. Salman is surprisingly bearable, mahesh manjrekar is his usual lecherous self, ayesha takia is cute+hot and prakash raj’s villain character is absurdly funny, guaranteed to steal the show
reminded me of paresh rawal from daud. all PFC purists, give it a try!
“phata-poster-nikla-hero” and “seeti-maaro-upon-arrival” film to the core, i was glad i watched it in a single screen to get the real feel, rather than in the sanitised environment of the multiplexes.

prakash raj rocks, and manoj pahwa is not so bad afterall, though brahmanandam rocked more in telugu. salman is more than bearable, ayesha takia was a letdown. vinod khanna is good in a brief role. songs n BGM are no match to the original.
Not as good as the Telugu original, that had better songs, and dialogues were more kick ass. But still good timepass, maar dhaad stuff to keep you engaged.
Salman Khan does well, in these kinda roles. Ayesha Takia,however, not really fitting in, Illeana was much better. Also really don’t understand what made Vinod Khanna accept a role, that could have been done by any one.
Songs were disappointing, soundtrack much better in Telugu-Tam originals. Its a kinda desi masala Burger, thats been missing for some time, worth a try, much better than some of the tasteless Lucks, Cash, Kindaps we had to endure in recent times.
Agreed. And yea, Illeana fitted in the role of a naivete much better than Ayesha. Among the actors only Mahesh Manjrekar and Prakash Raj stand out.
telugu version was way better. but not comparing the two, wanted is a good time pass. i just could disassocaie myself from comparing it with telugu pokiri, but for ppl who havent seen the original, this should be a good mass masala maar dhaad type movie. some paisa wasool moments. Illeana was way better… much better than some other “slick” action thrillers which came out in bollywood in recent times…..

A good masala hindi filma fter a long time.Salman pulls it off,one good thing was they have adapted well into hindi.
The only drawback was songs,which was complete letdown.

I would like to give prabhu all the credit, but i would also like to give credit to Puri Jaganath the director of original,clever of prabhu to not to mess with the original fun elements.

Entertaining movie.
Good old no-brains-needed bollywood masala movie after a long time. Thought we were losing our unique ishtyle. Could have been better with less crude humor, better music and tighter second half. But 3 hrs full time pass, which actually is so difficult these days!

Before you step in for Wanted, get ready for a refreshed viewing of the movies, you have seen in the 90’s, in today’s double meaning, abusive and slightly male chauvinist outlook!
Wanted stars Salman as a Goon who’ll do anything for the right price. a Superman who will cover Bombay running, beat up any no. of goons without a scratch, and fire and dodge bullets without hesitation.
Ayesha Takia plays a middle class girl who Salman falls in love with. Prakash Faj as the far east operatng Don and Mahesh Manjrekar as the corrupt cop.
The story does not hold much importance, as in many Salman Khan films. The movie relies on the execution in the form of Salman Khan, Prakash Raj and the dialogues.
What stops Wanted from becoming a good entertainer, is difference of speed in the First and Second Half. The first half moves lighting fast and entertains fine, though with too many songs.The Second half in painfully slow, and slower with songs. The unneeded songs and emotional scenes only make the movie irritating.
This makes the movie’s better scenes seem a hefty compensation for the bad ones. It makes you want to fast forward the movie and that kills it.
Salman Khan is back after a very long time, in his performance mood. This is the kid of role in which Salman shines out.
Ayesha Takia however, fails to make any impression.
Prashant Raj as the comic Don is quite innovative. He fits the bill for the kind of expressions and timing he has given.
Mahesh Manjrekar plays te corrupt cop quite well. But, He fails to make an impression because the role is stereotypical, you can guess everything about him.
Wanted will have many comparisions with Ghajini for the violence, but Wanted has different premise altogether.
Wanted is a film you can go for, leaving your brains, intelligence, logic outside the theatre. It works well because there have been much, much worse movies throughout the year.
The film has an interesting premise and could have been a much better film. The romance angle could have been improved and given some depth, the gory violence could have been reduced and songs could have been given a good prelude. Anyway, audience is loving it. According to Boxofficeindia.com, the film is creating new records at many small centres and single screens in big cities. It’s Salman Khan magic working big time.
Ah !! another crap from Salman. I downloaded wanted but couldnt stand more than 20 mins….
should have watched it in theaters.
I watch those film in theatres, for which I feel for, even if they turn out a bad experience.
Luck, RBDJ,LAK,Kaminey were a few bad experience in theatres.
Otherwise, I prefer to download. I told you , I cant stand 20 mins of wanted.
I love world cinema and film festival and for that i especially take my day off and visit them. I have even gone out of my city to attend such festivals, reason, again I find an urge to watch those movies. I purchased whole Akira set online becasue I wanted to have a personal collection of his DVDS.
But i dont think I have any such feelings for all the khans , kumars & kapoors movie.

yaar, I didn’t ask for justification. Ultimately it’s your call but for Hindi movies either I watch it in theatre or I don’t watch (though might take some of them from someone later in portable drive or rent it). Most of the movies I dont find even worth downloading because downloading is again a time taking process and those movies don’t deserve it.

A relief after all those over-hyped over-rated loud-characters over-emoting in all those NRI targetted movies. Great to watch a masala movie after a long time. This is Hindi cinema. We need masala in our movies as much as we do it in our food.
Great to watch a real MAN in action after a long time.
The teasers of this movie didnt do justice to it at all.
i had no expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. wafer thin plot, mindless action, sallu’s hair changes every song – i know, i know. but, does it entertain me, hell yeah!!!
ultimately thats what i look for in a movie, if it entertains me, i dont care about anything else. so much better than Ghajini (got bored in that snoozefest).
Salman Khan still does not know how to act. Compared to the original this movie is no way near in any part except Prakash Raj and Mahesh Manjrekar.
I give 2 out of 5 as this is masala movie and it proves to be a masala entertainer to some extent.
The comedy track is also not so good.
I had watched the tamil film Pokiri just 15 days before the release of Wanted ..just the way I did with Gajini…When you watch a movie irrespective of not knowing a single word of that language…the only thing that can sail you through till the end of the movie is entertainment factor. Wanted has all that with its sleek action sequences and ofcourse the Salman Khan aura….if you are showing a larger than life hero …with a “care a damn” attitude…u need a guy who can bring to the table that kind of body language and personality. Mahesh babu though being a good actor lacked that…and Salman convinces you, Radhe can !!! …all in all its a movie for Salman Khan fans …and there are many loyal fans out there. Its an out and out fultoo paisa wasool entertainer.
This was a torture.. but at least they showed exactly what they communicated through promotions.. so everything was expected..
Wanted was a full masala & entertainment movie. Yet it’s not at par with Original. Telugu was much better interms of direction, songs, actions. Actors did well. Mahesh really suit the character & Illeana looked sweet.
Coming to hindi, its is Salman’s best action movie till date. It’s a treat for Salman’s fans.
First half is impressive and salman is terrific, but after that the whole movie is a let down and enters into usual hindi movie traps.
