We want our cinema back, now!
How are your weekends coming along? Pretty dry eh? Longing for the smell of popcorn or maybe it’s time to smell the coffee. No cinema to watch for another month. It’s frustrating, isn’t it?
One of our PFCite, Neeraj Ghaywan has started a petition against the multiplex-producer strike. He thinks the fraternities are showing absolutely no regard to what cinema fans are going through in this holiday season. The petition is called “We want our cinema back, now” is on Facebook. This petition was featured in Mid-Day Delhi.

How is this petition gonna help, if the main benefactors of the strike being removed are the people this petition is against.
@Sudipto…spot on…
Anyhow, since the IPL and Election season is over, the creative genuises of Follywood, who make money by selling nonsense would be soon back into business..
Follywood blockbusters should henceforth be released with a disclaimer as to how it might ruin the sensibilities of our future generation and hence it is not advisable for small children
@jMonk,
I consider cinema as important as legal injustice, unemployment, media madness and I am not ashamed of it. Cinema is the way of living for many of us.
since cinema being the reflection of any society,and after this strike we’re now far away from this true reflection.
Okay then, I hear the multiplexes have moved to the courts… And I was getting happy with news about the strike being called off… I want Kaminey like now!!! http://www.indiantelevision.com/aac/y2k9/aac314.php
