White Tiger by Aravind Adiga is now being adapted into a screenplay. The book had won the Booker prize recently. The rights have been acquired by John Hart’s newly formed Smuggler Films has acquired rights to The White Tiger as its first project. I know a lot Indian Filmmakers would have wanted to adapt this book too.

Good news that Adiga’s work is getting adapted, It read like a entertaining film only, filled with stark humor. Now translating those words into images would be a real task….especially bringing in the humorous element…
sad..that Indidan studios/leading production houses don’t pounce upon the opportunity to buy these literary works..
